Lempad is a Balinese tradition evolutionary master. He was a versatile artist and everything he touched, architecture, sculpture, drawings, reliefs, had that magic or divine inspiration called "taksu" among the Balinese, giving all his works a spiritual dimension. 

Lempad’s art has the power to link people, tradition and modernity that can appeal to a large audience in Indonesia and overseas, well beyond the limited circle of collectors, lecturers and specialists. Depicting secular rituals or mythological subjects, the art of Lempad translates human interactions and relations with spiritual forces in a distinctive graphic style, based on movements and clarity that is readily available to the layperson. Expressing the universal and timeless value of Lempad’s artworks in “an interesting” way would also be an opportunity to draw a broader and younger audience to appreciate it
