Islands of Consciousness– Art Show & Shamanic Dream Journey

Date and Time:

27th Febrary, 7pm-9.30pm

Islands of Consciousness– Art Show & Shamanic Dream Journey

Join us for this special art show featuring 14 international artists who will present their work-in-progress as part of the BecomeBecome residency in Ubud, Bali. Set as an immersive exhibit that will spread over the grounds of Yayasan Bali Purnati Foundation, this show will be an experiential doorway into art and the artist process.

Unlike traditional shows, this event encourages artists to present their work-in-progress as a project in flux that remains open to feedback and influence from visitors and the local community.

Building on the BecomeBecome approach to trandsdisciplinary learning, this day is an opportunity to enjoy an incredibly broad range of art from across the world while addressing key questions at the heart of the residency:

- What does it mean to see creation as porcess-based, without a final defined product?

- How can the viewer become a protagonist in the art work, rather than the maker being the main focus?

- How does our perspective on art change when we see it as a moment in a chain of process, rather than a perfected piece?

The show opens at 7pm- we look forward to this special evening with you, with a special SHAMANIC DREAM JOURNEY at 7.30pm to ring in the event and get us into an open state of mind.
